The Royal Regina Rifles is a Primary Reserve infantry regiment of the Canadian Armed Forces. As a reserve infantry unit, members are trained in variety of personal and crew-served weapons, as well as offensive and defensive tactics. The regiment’s primary task is to provide Direct Fire Support through the employment of the .50-Cal. Heavy Machine Gun and the C16 Automatic Grenade Launching System.

We’re here for you, British Columbia. Between Nov. 17 and 21 over 380 members of the 3 Div team deployed from Edmonton to help residents of B.C. recover from recent flooding and landslides. They are working alongside members of the Royal Canadian Air Force and under command of Maritime Forces Pacific / Forces maritimes du Pacifique, the command responsible for domestic operations in B.C. More 3 Div soldiers are expected to deploy in the coming days on Op LENTUS, the Canadian Armed Forces response to natural disasters in Canada.
